Insectenbeten door mug, paardenvlieg, horzel en de midges, no-see-ums en knutjes zijn de plaag waar je soms radeloos van kunt worden. Zoals zo vaak ligt het antwoord in de natuur. In Schotland zijn ze er in geslaagd een kruidentinctuur samen te stellen die zeer doeltreffend is om jeuk weg te nemen. Werkt ook tegen jeuk van brandnetels. Komt in een onbreekbaar kunststof flesje met een millieuvriendelijk verstuiverpompje. Niet op dieren uitgetest. Vlekt niet. Van de tientallen middeltjes die ik ooit heb geprobeerd is dit het enige middel dat -echt- helpt!
Insect bites are the scourge of walker, tourist, gardener and sports people alike. The midge, horsefly (cleg) and mosquito live to bite you and the itch drives you mad! Itch Ease is highly effective against bites, nettle stings and skin rashes.
Herbs such as parsley and lemon balm, crushed fresh and put on the bites, have been found to help soothe them by herbalists such as Dioscorides, Galen, Gerarde or Culpeper. Thyme traditionally acts as an antiseptic and antihistamine, and sage and mint are also effective against bites.
