Beschrijving

Petromax bakplaat en vuurschaal van stevig staal. D.w.z. deze handige ‘griddle’ is zowel te gebruiken als bakplaat waar je bijv. een hamburger lekker op kunt laten sizzelen, een omelet op bakken, enz., of als een manier om vuur niet op de grond te hoeven maken. Met zijn 23 cm hoge afneembare pootjes hoeft u gelijk niet zo ver te bukken. Voor het eerste gebruik moet u de bakplaat even voorbehandelen. Dat kan met Care & Seasoning Conditioner of met een plantaardige olie. Dit maakt de bakplaat tevens non-stick. Nadat de bakplaat voor het eerst is gebruikt zal zich een patina gaan vormen en is opnieuw behandelen pas nodig nadat u de plaat met sop heeft gewassen. Normaliter is afnemen met een doek al voldoende.
Meenemen is eenvoudig omdat de pootjes er uitgeschroefd kunnen worden.

Cooking, grilling and frying
With the three pillars, the griddle and fire bowl stands steadily over an open fire. Its centre becomes hotter than the edge, thus you can keep warm steaks, bakery produce and so on, while vegetables are still frying in the middle. Before using it for the first time, the griddle must be seasoned, so that a patina forms at each use, making it naturally non-stick. Once it has been seasoned, the griddle becomes hot very quickly and you can begin grilling right away.

Lighting a fire
The griddle and fire bowl offers you the opportunity to enjoy the crackling of burning wood logs and blazing flames under a starry sky. If you do not want to damage the ground with your campfire, this bowl is just what you need. You like to cook with our Dutch Oven? This is also possible with the Petromax Griddle and Fire Bowl! It is so robust that coals and briquettes along with a well-filled Dutch Oven are secure on the bowl.

Practical transport
The fire bowl is not bulky at all, since its 23-cm-long pillars can be easily unscrewed. Thus you can pack the griddle in a bag and transport it. Besides, the griddle without legs can be used with the Petromax Atago.
