Retro “Old Bear” zakmes, large, geproduceerd door de Italiaanse messenmaker Antonini ter gelegheid van hun 90-jarig jubileum.
De Old Bear heeft een geoliede walnoothouten greep. De beveiliging tegen ongewenst dicht- en ook openklappen lijkt op die van Opinel, en functioneert zeker niet minder.
Het roestvrij stalen lemmet is met de hand geslepen.
As an exclusive for the 90th anniversary of Antonini (founded in 1925), we are presenting the new “Old Bear” series, which represents a compelling interpretation of the classic utility pocketknife.
The centerpiece of the knives are the oiled walnut handles that support the traditional locking mechanism. A rotating ring inserted into the brass collet secures the blade in the deployed as well as closed position. As the active partner for this project, Todesco (Maniago/Italy) had already patented this mechanism in 1985 as a pocketknife lock.
The straightforward handling and exceedingly classic look of this traditional pocketknife in combination with the affordable acquisition price make the Old Bear a more than attractive purchase.
